We are currently seeking a Retail Project Coordinator to join our team.

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Retail Project Coordinator, you will be working with sales, customers, Merchandising Team members, and 3rd party resources to create showroom designs, provide cost estimates, order components and oversee room implementations.

What You’ll Do:

 Room Layout and Design:

  • Utilize design programs such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio to design customers’ selection rooms as part of a formalized Batesville Merchandising program
  • Partner with sales representatives and funeral home customers to develop and implement innovative selection room designs that meet the needs of customers and support Batesville’s marketing and sales strategies
  • Meet with customers virtually to develop room design

Project Coordination:

  • Oversee entire room implementation process including:
    • Verifying fixturing allowance or payment method
    • Entering room component orders into JDE system
    • Tracking orders, creating and maintaining monthly reports
    • Coordinating installation timeline with 3rd party
    • Communicating with customers, managers, and sales on order and project status
    • Providing necessary documentation as needed throughout project phases
  • Other duties may be assigned

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Computer Aided Design, Graphic Design, or related field minimum of one to two year(s) related design, merchandising, or construction experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in design
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and Funeral Home customers
  • Microsoft Office
  • AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit preferred
  • JD Edwards preferred
  • Project management practices and principles with good technical problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of CI/Lean philosophies

Travel

Associate must be able to travel 5 % of the time.
