Your Role at Batesville:
As a Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic email/marketing automation plans and campaigns, ensuring best in class execution, optimization, and overall customer experience. This high impact role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to create connected, personalized customer journeys. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Eloqua or a similar marketing automation tool and will have a high confidence developing and executing marketing automation journeys and continuously refining automated journeys and flows to deliver the right message to the right person on the right channel at the right time while elevating campaign performance, engagement, and lead generation. The Marketing Automation Specialist will support our digital transformation journey to drive brand awareness and affinity, lead acquisition and nurturing and customer loyalty through personalization. The desired candidate requires a unique mix of technical, creative, analytic and project management expertise.

What You’ll Do:
- Define and implement overall marketing automation strategy to support acquisition, retention, upsell and re-engagement goals with a focus on customer data can consumer insights to drive differentiation of segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional marketing team members including product marketing, channel, sales, and technology to develop strategies, plans and specific tools to meet revenue and unit goals.
- Work with Content Writer, Designers, and Channel and Product Marketing Teams to develop innovative campaigns that reach targeted audiences, deliver best-in-class customer experience, inspire meaningful brand engagements, and enhance the brand story.
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day setup, execution, and optimization of automated marketing campaigns, ensuring flawless execution and delivery.
- Design and create emails, SMS messages, forms, nurture programs and lead scoring models. Ensuring campaigns are deployed with accuracy in terms of targeting, content, and timing.
- Design, execute, and optimize customer journeys and marketing campaigns using consumer journey platforms that include SMS, paid advertising, direct mail, integrated marketing automations efforts across channels.
- Ensure our email contact list is up-to-date and works with other systems like CRM/Sales Cloud and JDE Sales Data. Work with CRM, Data Integrity, and Business Intelligence Teams as well as third-party marketing agencies.
- Implement lead nurturing campaigns that enhance brand perceptions and build loyalty and lead scoring initiatives to guide prospects through the sales funnel and increase conversion rates.
- Plan, execute and report on effective A/B testing to optimize performance. Foster a culture of testing and learning to push personalization, automation, and innovation forward.
- Oversee a robust marketing automation campaign schedule for multiple customer segments and strategic initiatives ensuring a mix of promotional, educational, and engagement-focused campaigns. Prioritize campaigns that drive the most ROI for the long-term business.
- Measure performance, provide feedback on objectives, analyze ROI, and optimize digital campaigns for maximum reach and conversion.
- Identify data process improvements and what data can be used to map KPIs and success metrics. Create alignment on what data will be tracked, how and where it will be collected, how it will be standardized and how it will be passed from systems to Eloqua, our marketing automation tool.
- Stay current with email, SMS, data segmentation and marketing automation industry trends, best practices and compliance standards/regulations for marketing automation and overall email channel delivery.

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in marketing or a related field; and a minimum of 5 years related email marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong project management skills; detail-oriented, self-motivated and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent time management skills required to manage competing and concurrent tasks in fast paced deadline driven environment.
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills with knowledge of B2B/B2B2C marketing methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge and expertise of email marketing platforms, email service platforms (ESP) and SMS platforms; Oracle Eloqua preferred.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to convert data to insights and influence and convert leads.
- Ability to accurately identify and isolate root cause of technical issues and resolve quickly.
- Deep understanding of the business, the industry, competitors, and business model.
- Experience with managing leads, inbound marketing, audience segmentation, and strategies for guiding prospects through the sales funnel.
- Strong understanding of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR email marketing regulations and best practices.
Nice to Haves:
- Working knowledge of SMS marketing preferred.
