We are currently seeking an Industrial Engineer or Process Engineer to join our team in Vicksburg, MS.
Your Role at Batesville:
As an Industrial Engineer or Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems and processes used in our manufacturing facility.
Industrial/Process Engineer responsibilities include testing and monitoring equipment, updating current system processes, and conducting risk assessments. This position would analyze operations and design workflows and production processes to reduce loss, while accurately and efficiently meeting customer needs.
Ultimately, you will work with organizational leaders and other Engineers to maximize productivity and reduce wastefulness related to all production processes.

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct research to develop and implement new and improved processes for manufacturing.
- Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
- Design production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
- Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analysis, and estimated production costs.
- Learn and properly manage production inspection equipment.
- Design the layout of facilities and determine personnel requirements.
- Train staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals.
- Ensure that the quality, safety, and industry standards are adhered to.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of the safety procedures and industry standards
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Troubleshooting expertise and attention to detail
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field required.
Nice to Haves:
