Your Role at Batesville:

As a Manager, Project Management Office, you will be responsible for managing and leading a range of technical strategic projects while adhering to established organizational project management practices. This individual will be responsible for managing and directing the activities of the project management team to achieve on-time project completion and adherence to standard processes and methodologies. This position will partner with internal and external teams to design and architect and implement and/or support our technology solutions utilizing structured methodologies, key performance indicators, and industry standards as well as is responsible for the short and long-term portfolio roadmap for the IT function in support of the overall company strategy and objectives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage project management office resources for all projects while providing proactive consultation on all phases and processes of the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously streamline and improve all processes related to project management functional excellence.
  • Manage and lead a wide range of technology projects while adhering to established organizational project management practices.
  • Assist with analysis, prioritization, and vendor engagement on system strategies, upgrades, program interrelationships and roadmaps.
  • Assist with managing the project portfolio by partnering with the business to identify, justify, and prioritize future strategic initiatives.
  • Partners with internal and external teams to design and architect and implement and/or support our technology solutions utilizing structured methodologies, key performance indicators and industry standards.
  • Assists with defining and implementing the project management office standards and processes to ensure alignment to business policies and strategies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Information Technology; and a minimum of 7 years related project management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in project management.
  • Advanced experience defining project objectives, scope, risks, timelines, metrics, issues, documentation, and project meetings for small to medium technical projects.
  • Advanced experience managing project resources to facilitate completion of projects within budget and timelines.
  • Intermediate experience with system development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Intermediate understanding and application of enterprise systems architectures.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Applications.
  • Intermediate experience with portfolio management.
  • Advanced analytical acumen with the ability to translate data, to insights, to action.
  • Intermediate experience leading medium to large-size cross-functional projects.
  • Intermediate understanding of technical concepts and principles.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Intermediate presentation skills.

Nice To Haves:

  • Expert experience with system development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • PMP® certification.
  • Financial acumen necessary to prepare and maintain project budgets and resources.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Expert project management experience.
