This role is primarily remote, with occasional days in the office to collaborate with the team. 

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for leading and developing the financial planning and analysis functions for the organization and manages the team of FP&A professionals.  Responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, as well as providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's growth and profitability. Effectively provides strong leadership of the team, a deep understanding of financial management principles, and actively drives process improvements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop FP&A team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Finance or Accounting; and a minimum of 5 years related financial and strategic planning experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in finance/strategy.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Experience with financial analysis tools (e.g. OneStream Reporting & Planning Suite).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Cognos)
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience with ERP or Accounting software (e.g. JD Edwards).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience with project/meeting facilitation with directors/executives.

Nice to Haves:

  • MBA, CPA or CMA designation preferred.
