Your Role at Batesville:

As a Digital Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Digital Product Data Manager in maintaining day-to-day operations of the Digital Asset Manager (DAM) system. You will play a key role in establishing best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for our digital asset management. This position requires experience working in similar systems and a familiarity working with photo assets, documents, and digital asset meta data.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for working with the Digital Product Data Manager within the digital asset management (DAM) ensuring an accurate asset library and integrity of digital assets within the DAM as well as integrate to other technology systems.
  • Implement, process, and manage tagging and organizing new assets into the DAM system and ensure required metadata fields are populated on system assets. Develop and enforce best practices and consistent file naming, folder structure and version control.
  • Perform system audits and reviews against downstream sites to ensure assets are feeding correctly and are up to date.
  • Assist with system updates, QA testing and releases across environments for new features and functionality to the DAM including testing and process mapping.
  • Ensure adherence to rules for asset loads, data quality, and workflow within the DAM environment.
  • Provide feedback and collaborate with the Digital Product Data Manager on data governance, user permissions, mandatory fields, and other DAM settings.
  • Onboard and train inexperienced users in the DAM, answer questions, and collaborate with the Marketing Services team members as well as other cross-functional team members to ensure consistency and completeness of digital assets.
  • Assist in mapping out processes and workflows within the DAM system and keeping SOPs up to date.
  • Utilize AI and other emerging technologies to improve asset management processes and identify new opportunities.
  • Assist Digital Website Specialist with DAM maintenance and management of digital showroom to ensure asset accuracy and systems integrations.
  • Other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university; and a minimum of 1-year related image or photography experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in DAM or similar software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce landscape and all aspects of product catalog development.
  • Strong understanding of image and document management and working with PNG, PSD, and PDF files.
  • Collaborative team player with a drive for continuous improvement using digital technologies and a digital mindset.
  • Self-motivated learner, accountable, coachable, with strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication, collaborative, and acts with integrity.
  • Basic Excel and Word knowledge.

Nice to Haves:

  • Demonstrates strong logic and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and set clear objectives and priorities.
  • Experience with Bynder or similar DAM systems.
