This role is primarily remote, with occasional days in the office to collaborate with the team. 

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Manager, Brand & Creative Services, you will guide and direct all creative output for the Batesville brand strategy from the early concept stages through to execution. This individual will collaborate closely with the segment marketing team, product management and product marketing teams. You will also work with the marketing services team to plan, manage and execute the messaging, brand strategy and design of all brand visual communications including marketing collateral, videos, presentations, and sales tools. This individual will assure that all creative is on brand, telling a cohesive story across segments and is efficiently produced on time and within budget, optimizing internal workflows, bandwidth, and resources.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop the strategy for the overall graphic creative vision and manage department resources in the development of Marketing collateral materials from concept through finished product. Ensure the style, quality and details of all printed and electronic executions are appropriate and consistent with Batesville brand standards.
  • Lead the team, both internal and external resources, responsible for providing creative services to the organization, to include graphic design, video, and copywriters. Work with the graphic design team to think creatively and innovate compelling new ways to reach our audiences and break through the clutter.
  • Provide overall graphic design and creative vision and direction as well as management of internal department and external resources to develop and execute all go-to-market campaign materials from concept through finished product. Ensure mastery of design and production efforts. Foster and nurture an environment that ensures teamwork, creativity and out of the box thinking.
  • Serves as the point person to manage external brand agency support resources, while developing and improving creative processes, team communication and needed systems/tools. Oversees the output of outside agency partners when creating content and monitor the progress of projects and adherence to internal processes.
  • Drives brand strategy (brand positioning, expression, and objectives) and brand execution (creative output, costs, timing, capability assessments) with thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer research. Lead the company’s brand identifies and ensure consistency across all communication channels, campaigns, and assets. Ensure the style, quality and details of all printed and electronic executions are appropriate and consistent with Batesville brand standards.
  • Oversee and manage the integrated marketing communications (IMC)  
  • Leads management and execution of content assessment, content strategy and calendar execution. Creates top of funnel and mid-funnel content that converts leads and moves through the funnel across channels. 
  • Leverage strong knowledge of market and customer needs to create and implement brand position strategy. Maintain and grow brand awareness and generate excitement for our brand internally and externally. Manage print partners and all aspects of print production and fulfillment. 
  • Maximizes our internal and external investment to optimize overall output to support our segment strategy and overall company growth.
  • Continuously refine and improve creative processes, systems, and tools.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Marketing, communications, graphic design, or fine arts; and a minimum of 7 years related marketing, brand experience and/or digital; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective at leading teams, developing talent, and fostering a creative, collaborative working environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in multiple areas of brand strategy, including graphic design, photography, and interactive design.
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize projects, based on client needs, and to keep multiple projects progressing in a quick, high-quality fashion.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in all aspects of print production
  • Demonstrable experience in proving ROI for print and electronic marketing methods.
  • Experience working with multiple lines of business and product categories.
  • Experience in brand development, digital marketing, and driving business growth through omni-channel marketing strategies.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize projects, based on client needs, and to keep multiple projects progressing in a quick, high-quality fashion.
  • Effective communication skills to partner with internal stake holders as well as to manage relationships with third-party marketing agencies.

Nice to Haves:

  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry and marketing trends.
  • Preferred experience with web-based project management software and digital asset management tools (Monday.com, EasyProjects, etc.)
  • Experience in leading teams, developing talent, fostering a creative work environment.
