We are currently seeking a Content Management Systems (CMS) Specialist to join our team. 

Your Role at Batesville: 

As a Content Management Systems (CMS) Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with our marketing team and business stakeholders to test and launch new content features within the company’s CMS. This position is responsible to oversee the CMS platform’s day-to-day operations including roadmap and maintenance. The CMS Specialist will establish processes to ensure system integrity as well as develop and implement polices for managing the digital content. They will oversee the governance of content lifecycle management. The CMS Specialist will be the subject matter expert on the CMS.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Oversee CMS platform’s day-to-day operations including roadmap and maintenance.
  • Establish processes to ensure system integrity and appropriate access controls.
  • Develop and implement policies for managing digital content including defining processes for creating, editing, and publishing content to various websites.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as content creators, designers, business leaders and development teams to ensure effective use of the CMS and identify ways to improve the experience.
  • Oversee the governance of content lifecycle management.
  • Stay informed with industry trends and best practices with CMS technology and digital content management.
  • Engage and collaborate with technology counterparts to ensure successful testing of all system updates, upgrades, launches, enhancements, system integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to accessibility and usability guidelines for all websites.
  • Execute project-based activities and meet deadlines.
  • Oversight of analytics tied to CMS testing strategies and usage.
  • Other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university; and a minimum of 3 years related CMS experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in digital content marketing.
  • Experience in the execution and building of A/B testing, personalization, and segmentation strategies.
  • Experience managing users and optimizing the digital experience within a CMS.
  • Ability to document requirements for content projects and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proactively.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in a clear, confident, and personable manner.
  • Experience with a headless CMS.
