We are currently seeking a System Administrator to join our team.
Your Role at Batesville:
As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for leading and supporting service delivery related to the following specialized areas: Active Directory, Windows/Linux Server, Virtualization, and RDS. This position will support the enterprise by providing system support, maintenance, and monitoring.

What You’ll Do:
- Researches and maintains knowledge in assigned technical areas.
- Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves basic to intermediate-level problems independently.
- Assists with information security and processes.
- Performs as technical lead for small projects.
- Participates in projects of various complexity and length.
- Provide after-hours on-call support.
- Supports, maintains, and monitors all systems in the assigned technical area.
- Supports vendor relationships and responsibilities.
- Implements and maintains process documentation in assigned technical areas.
- Works with the business IT teams to support day-to-day operations.
- Maintains the current virtualized environment supporting all business and IT functions.
- Provides basic to intermediate-level Windows/Linux Server OS support.
- Provides basic to intermediate-level Active Directory support.
- Supports the business and IT to provide application and end-user computing environments via RDS.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Associate’s degree (A.S./A.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in computer science or related degree; and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in information technology.
- Employee must be able to travel 10% of the time.
- Intermediate-level problem-solving skills required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Basic to Intermediate project management skills as a technical lead required.
- Basic to intermediate skills in the following: VMware vSphere, Linux Server, Windows Server 2012 to current, and System monitoring and backups.
