We are currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role with 3-4 days/week being onsite in Batesville, IN.
Your Role at Batesville:
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing customer service duties in support of sales and credit and collection efforts and to ensure data integrity of customer information in enterprise management system.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and make deposits for cash receipts.
- Maintain customer records and file documents.
- Review new customer data sheets for completion; work with sales representatives to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
- Prepare and mail out weekly and monthly invoice exceptions.
- Run customer letters and past due notices.
- Complete credit analysis and verifies funeral home and funeral director licenses with state agencies.
- Collaborate with Sales/IT teams to ensure proper implementation and set-up of customer and call activity, complete account set-up in enterprise management system.
- Monitor integrity reports and resolve issues.
- Process returned mail and verify customer addresses.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 to 3 years finance related field and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Nice to Haves:
- Knowledge of business or enterprise management system.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
